In Studio Classes
Dancers entering the studio are required to wear a plastic face shield, secure their hair in a bun or pony tail, and follow all outlined protocols. Prior to your dancer's first class, you will be required to affirm, that you/your dancer are in good health and have not been in contact with anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 as detailed by the CDC, and that if you have traveled out of state, that you have self quarantined for 14 days.
Additionally, we ask you to complete a waiver to be kept on file to acknowledge that your dancer's participation in studio classes is welcomed - as long as they are healthy and observing our new studio policies and social distancing protocols.
Any person showing symptoms of illness or fever will not be permitted entrance.
If you/your dancer have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. Please do not come to the studio until you/your dancer has been symptom-free and fever-free for three days. If you/your dancer have tested positive for COVID-19, or have knowingly come into close contact with someone who has, or have traveled out of state - we ask that you do not come to the studio for 14 days - or until you’ve tested negative for COVID-19.
Required Safety Protocols:
Only enrolled dancers will be permitted inside the studio.
Curbside or parking lot dancer drop off/pick up only.
Permitted items include personal water bottles, personal hand sanitizer, dance shoes and REQUIRED protective face shields which will all be spray sanitized upon entry. All shoes, cell phones, keys, wallets, outerwear etc. must be removed and placed in a cubby in the lobby upon entry. Cubbies will be sanitized between classes.
All dancers will receive a touch-less temperature check - and must immediately wash hands properly upon entry. Anyone presenting with a fever, or symptoms of illness will not be permitted entrance.
Dancers are limited to lobby, bathroom and designated studios only.
Dancers must depart promptly after class and remove their stored items.
Any items left behind will be discarded.
Please do not bring any food into the studio. It will not be permitted.
Please ensure that your dancer has eaten before arrival for class.
Please arrive on time for class. Late entry will not be permitted.
To allow our staff ample time to sanitize the studio between classes, and to limit social interaction, please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to class start time
What is DFR doing to keep your dancer and the studio safe ?
Motion sensor soap dispensers have replaced pump soap dispensers.
DFR Staff will wear face shields and remain at a safe distance from all dancers.
Instructors will use verbal cues and demonstration, instead of using hands on corrections.
Class sizes are limited and the studios have clearly marked dancer stations to guarantee a minimum of 6 feet of personal distance between dancers during class.
Dancers will enter and remain 6 feet apart at all times - floor makers will indicate safe distances throughout the space.
Lounge areas, dressing areas and lockers are unavailable - please come prepared to dance.
All areas, cubbies, hand rails and barres will be sanitized between classes.
No hand held equipment will be used in classes.
Studios will be professionally cleaned twice weekly and deep cleaned twice monthly
The entrance door will be locked for the duration of each class.
We are encouraging dancers and staff to limit person-to-person contact, including hugs & high fives.
We appreciate your trust and support as we adapt to this evolving situation. We are strictly following the CDC’s recommendations and state mandated regulations, and are purposefully adjusting operations to keep the dancers and our staff safe and healthy.
We hope to see you all soon!
